This whole day since I found out, I've been so emotional. I met him some time towards the end of the year last year and we weren't really that close. But you know, we knew each other. From the few times we did hang out, I was able to get to know him a little. And from those moments, I knew that he was a kind and very ambitious person. He had plans in life, which included the nursing path, just like me. And it saddens me that he won't be able to do that. It also saddens me that it takes something tragic to make people realize the important things in life and how valuable it is to be alive and living. From all the facebook and myspace updates, it's comforting to know that he has touched and influenced the lives of many and he will be greatly missed.
This morning, I totally bombed my chemistry final. All day, I thought it was the end of the world and that my life was over. But after hearing this, I am ever so grateful that I got through the day and will be able to have a tomorrow. |
